Nick Offerman, Illinois’ sensational and multi talented comedian is bringing his indelible comedy to the Moore Theater!

Nick Offerman was born in Joliet (Illinois) in 1970 and is an actor, comedian, writer, musician, humorist, and carpenter. He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign in 1993 and then co-founded a Chicago based theatre company (Defiant Theatre) with a group of fellow students. He was also involved with other theater companies such as Steppenwolf, Goodman, Wisdom Bridge and he met comedian Amy Poehler who was extremely active in the Chicago comedy scene in the mid 90s. Nick’s renowned for his breakout role as Ron Swanson in the critically acclaimed NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation. He won the Television Critics Association Award for Individual Achievement in Comedy for his role and went on to play Karl Weathers in the FX series Fargo. He was nominated for a Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Movie/Miniseries for his role in Fargo. He’s also starred in many popular films and TV series (The King of Queens, 22 Jump Street to name a few) and he’s also released 2 semi-autobiographies; Paddle Your Own Canoe: One Man's Fundamentals for Delicious Living and Gumption: Relighting the Torch of Freedom with America's Gutsiest Troublemakers.
